Your mission

Your Mission:

As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager you will own paid performance marketing, organic content concepting and production, copywriting, and brand management for MushRoots - and lead a small team in executing a high-impact social-first strategy.

 

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Lead end-to-end content creation for Instagram: feed posts, stories, and reels

  • Produce and/or direct high-quality multimedia content (video, photo, graphics) tailored to Instagram

  • Write compelling German copy that reflects the MushRoots brand voice - bold, mushroom-forward, and anti-meat-substitute

  • Ensure cultural relevance and nuanced copy writing and story telling for a modern, urban audience

 Paid Performance Marketing

  • Plan, execute, and optimize Meta (Instagram/Facebook) paid campaigns including reach, awareness, and conversion objectives

  • Manage campaign budget allocation across PLZ-based audience segments and retail regions

  • Ensure on-brand communication across all assets

Creator Marketing

  • Manage and support creator marketing manager for UGC content creation and specific creator campaigns

Brand Experience & Events

  • Conceptualise and support the execution of brand activations and creator events — from ideation through to on-the-ground presence

  • Transform offline brand experiences into compelling social content — capturing live moments and turning activations into reach on Instagram

  • Develop event-specific content strategies that connect public and creator-facing activations with broader campaign goal

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid social and content strategy

  • Fluency in German and English is required.

  • Experience working as an interim marketing professional or freelancer, with a track record of successfully delivering short-term projects and rapidly creating impact in dynamic environments

  • Proven track record managing Meta campaigns (Instagram/Facebook) with measurable results 

  • Strong content creation skills - you can ideate, direct and/or produce social video and photo content 

  • Excellent copywriting skills in German

  • Experience in brand management and maintaining consistent visual/tonal identity

  • A proactive, creative, and adaptable mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment

  • Passionate about food & beverage and deeply understands consumer behavior in the FMCG space

  • Willingness to work from Hamburg office and travel within Germany for brand activations and events

Intern - Bioinformatics screening of fungal species (m/f/d) Mushlabs GmbH · Hamburg

Your mission

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that enable the exploration of fungal biodiversity and unlock the potential of fungal fermentation

  • Develop automated workflows for extracting, processing, and integrating genomic, metabolomic, and functional annotation data from public and internal sources

  • Link compounds, biosynthetic pathways, and biological functions to fungal genomes and metabolomes to accelerate strain discovery and characterization

  • Analyze biological and fermentation data to identify factors that drive target compound productivity and optimize fermentation performance

  • Work with large biological datasets, leveraging bioinformatics tools and databases to generate actionable insights

  • Collaborate closely with scientists, data engineers, and software developers to integrate bioinformatics workflows into our data platform

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure, automation capabilities, and computational methods for fungal research

Your profile

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Biotechnology, or a related field

  • Hands-on experience with bioinformatics tools, pipelines, and public databases such as BLAST, NCBI, UniProt, KEGG, or similar resources

  • Proficiency in Python and relevant bioinformatics libraries (e.g., Biopython) for data analysis and workflow development

  • Experience with database querying, data parsing, API integration, and structured data formats such as JSON and XML

  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git

  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working at the interface of biology and data science, with a passion for turning complex biological data into meaningful insights

  • Team-oriented mindset combined with initiative, reliability, and a hands-on approach to scientific discovery

  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
