Your mission

Your mission

  • Lead the monthly S&OP cycle: Ensure successful delivery of business objectives together with Commercial, Marketing, Production, Logistics, and Finance

Your mission

  • Pretreatment of raw materials such as lignocellulosic biomass for nutrients, sugars and protein extraction using Thermo-pressurized reactors.
  • Develop mass balances for extraction processes, making appropriate assumptions and calculations.
  • Biobased hydrolysis of raw materials using enzymes.
  • Fine-tune/optimize hydrolysis process parameters.
  • Perform fermentation of lignocellulosic biomass-derived extracts. Analyze results and discuss them with the supervisor.
  • Prepare samples for analysis with HPLC, UV-Vis, GC-MS, etc.
  • Write reports, SOPs and scientific reports to consolidate internal know-how.

Your profile

  • Currently studying Process Engineering, Bioprocess engineering, Chemical, Environmental engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent

  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with high-pressure reactor operations and fermentation processes.

  • Solid understanding of enzyme application biochemical processes.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret experimental data, with an understanding of mass balance principles.

  • Strong interest in sidestreams biochemistry and extraction processes

  • Enthusiastic for working hands-on in the laboratory
